Popup stores the following information locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API:

• LinkedIn Posts: Content you choose to save (author names, post text, images, timestamps)
• Your Tags and Notes: Custom tags and notes you add to saved posts
• Extension Settings: Your preferences and Pro license status
• Usage Statistics: Count of saved posts (to enforce the 100-post free limit)

Important: This data is stored only on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Data We Process (Payment Only)

When you upgrade to Popup Pro, we process:

• Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe (we never see your card details)
• Email Address: Provided to Stripe during checkout, used to generate your license key
• License Key: A unique code generated from your email and session ID

This information is processed only during the payment flow and is handled by Stripe's secure payment infrastructure.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Local Storage Usage

The LinkedIn posts you save are used exclusively to:

• Display your saved posts in the extension library
• Enable search and filtering functionality
• Allow you to export your data to CSV
• Provide offline access to your saved content

3.2 Payment Processing

When you purchase Popup Pro, your payment information is used to:

• Process your payment via Stripe
• Generate your unique license key
• Provide customer support if needed

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

All your saved LinkedIn posts are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• We cannot access, view, or modify your saved posts
• Only you control your data
• Data persists until you uninstall the extension or clear browser data

4.2 Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see or store your credit card information.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Stripe

We use Stripe for payment processing. When you make a payment:

• Stripe collects your payment information
• Stripe processes your payment securely
• We receive only a session ID and your email address

5.2 LinkedIn

Popup operates on LinkedIn.com pages to provide save functionality. We do not:

• Collect your LinkedIn credentials
• Access your LinkedIn profile
• Send any data to LinkedIn
• Violate LinkedIn's terms of service

We only extract publicly visible post content that you choose to save.

6. Data Retention

6.1 Saved Posts

Your saved posts remain in your browser's local storage until you:

• Manually delete them in the extension
• Uninstall the extension
• Clear your browser data

6.2 Payment Information

Payment records are retained by Stripe according to their retention policy. We do not maintain our own database of customer information.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access Your Data: View all your saved posts in the extension library
• Export Your Data: Download all saved posts as CSV at any time
• Delete Your Data: Delete individual posts or uninstall the extension to remove all data
• Withdraw Consent: Uninstall the extension at any time

8. Children's Privacy

Popup is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

10. International Users

Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no international data transfer. Payment processing via Stripe may involve data transfer according to Stripe's policies.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, the risk of data breaches from our end is minimal. We do not maintain a database of user information.
